Some of these books took much less time. There are some done in 9 months, 3 months, 6 weeks and even 6 days. It may have been the author had to finish the book quickly because they needed the money or that his editor needed the book out now. Whatever the motivation there is a wide range of time it took to complete some of our most favorite books.
